digital media effects everything and everyone around us. we discussed ways in which print, and other types of digital media are eithe portrayed or how we view them. Ex: Manipulation, consumer, advertising, commercials, news (time-based), entertainment.

This is where i plan on going right now until the final at 9. So goodnight for now. great semester.

So basically, this is my life right now, as i am cramming in my last 10 blogs. I have yet to sleep since Sunday and don't plan on sleeping until wednesday night... Great life !

I thought this was an interesting image, in regards to digital art. This image was created on a mac, and made use of photoshop... it is so mysterious, yet in some ways you can tell what was original.. im assuming the girl and it looks as thougth the other whimsical features were added in afterwards to give it such a mysterious effect.

AND on the Republican end... MCCAIN!

With voting coming up tomorrow, thought it would be interesting to do a blog for each candidate, and a "somewhat manipulated" photo of each. So anyways, on the democratic end we have... OBAMA

If authentic pictures won't be published, should they be published at all?

This is a photo found online that is interestingly enough... a digitally manipulated photograph. At first glance I thought i was crazy... but you can tell by the non chalant body language coming from individuals on both sides that they are all sitting/standing in a spot on the rocks, if they are even on the rocks quite comfortably, but this picture was made to look like they are floating in mid air.

Some individuals were removed from the photo and some got new hair... Just goes to show you how history "changes"

Is this dog really bigger than that white building in the background? :)

More like the monster lisa? This image was digitally manipulated to put some type of viking monster's head on the infamous painting of the mona lisa... creepy eh?

If digital media was non existent... how would this force businesses to market their products and services? How would advertising be affected... These ways of marketing that we often take for granted such as online advertising, commercials, and radio would be set on the back burner while businesses formulate strategies to market their products and services to the consumer in a more "creative" way. Their are countless ways in which advertising could still exist, but imagine how difficult and strange it would be without digital media to help push marketing along...

If society were to cut out digital media from our everyday lives... It would cause for complete chaos. I think that the majority of individuals would be at a loss without cell phones, texting, the web surfing, ipods, and so on... Society would not really not what to do or where to start. I personally would feel a little lost and out of touch. A small percentage of society would be alright. Those individuals who can separate themselves from using digital media now, are the ones that would survive the best. The next question is where would society be in regards to numerous markets?

Practically every individual is affected by digital media in some way. It is all around us whether we are aware of it or not... Often, we take the little things for granted, such as a a text message, and instant message, facebook, and even blogging. As technologies are ever changing and innovation is on the rise, we will see more and more of digital media being used for everything.

Digital Media is E V E R Y W H E R E in society... We see it daily in regards to advertising via television, radio, and the internet. Businesses as well as corporations are taking advantage of digital media to get word out to there consumers about their products and services. The internet for example, is such a great innovation for marketing goods and services.. it is often cheaper to setup a website with all of a business' products available for anyone to see... Rather than them having physically go to a store.

A digital network could include any of the following: televisions, computer monitors, plasma display panels, or liquid crystal displays. These graphics, texts, audio, and videos can be transmitted over the internet or any other type of computer networks.

Digital Art can be defined as any form of information that is stored on a computer, whether it be data, voice, or video.. It could also include online news, tv networks, and even BLOGS!
